The Advanced Diploma in Veterinary Nursing Programme, offered by the School of Continuing and Professional Education (SCOPE), City University of Hong Kong, is developed to serve the increasing demand for professionally trained and qualified personnel in veterinary nursing, to provide vital support in the veterinary profession and industry sector in Hong Kong. The programme is designed to generate veterinary nurses who have the knowledge, skills and appropriate attitudes to make a significant contribution to the health and welfare of the animals in our Society.

This programme supports the goal of the Jockey Club College of Veterinary Medicine and Life Sciences (JCCVMLS) to set a high standard for animal healthcare and welfare, and veterinary services under the 'One Health' concept in Asia. The programme is also recognised under the Hong Kong Qualifications Framework Level 4.
