Programme Structure
The Bachelor of Design (Digital Media Design) programme is a three-year programme consisting of a total 300 credit points. In Hong Kong, the full-time and part-time mode of the top-up degree programme will be offered and students will receive 150 or 200 credit points of advanced standing from prior study. To qualify for the award, a student must attain 100 or 150 credit points by completing eight units of Professional Major (100 credit points) and - depending on exemptions - an additional four units of Advanced Minor (50 credit points). Students taking 150 credit points have to complete 12 units either in the full-time mode across three semesters in a year, or six semesters in two years in the part-time mode. Students taking 100 credit points have to complete 8 units either in the full-time mode across two semesters in a year, or four semesters in two years in the part-time mode.

* note: holders of Associate of Arts in Digital Visual Design (AADVD) from Community College of City University will receive 200 credit points exemption and be required to study 8 units of 100 credit points. However, they have the option to take in extra four units under Design Management for an additional fee.
Assessment and Award
Assessment of all modules is by coursework. A student will be recommended for the award of Bachelor of Design, conferred by Swinburne University of Technology, upon successful completion of the programme.
