Programme Structure

The Bachelor of Design (Interior Design) programme is a three-year programme consisting of a total 300 credit points. In Hong Kong, only the part-time mode of the top-up degree programme will be offered and students will receive 150 or 200 credit points of advanced standing from prior study. To qualify for the award, a student must attain 100 or 150 credit points by completing eight units  of Professional Major (100 credit points) and - depending on exemptions - an additional four units of Advanced Minor (50 credit points). Students taking 150 credit points have to complete 12 units in six semesters in two years while students taking 100 credit points have to complete 8 units in four semesters in two years.

Assessment and Award

Assessment of all modules is by coursework. A student will be recommended for the award of Bachelor of Design, conferred by Swinburne University of Technology, upon successful completion of the programme.
