Welcome to our SCOPE Self-access Language Laboratory (SALL) which is located at our SCOPE TSTE Learning Centre, CP208. Feel free to visit us within our opening hours.

Provisions in the Laboratory
The SCOPE Self-access language Laboratory (SALL) has 32 computers installed with self-access English learning software and other self-learning materials, so to help students enhance their English proficiency beyond class time.
Students can make use of the self-access english learning software to learn English in their own time, own pace, appropriate level and selected topic. Students can also borrow movie discs (DVD Catalogue) to watch in the laboratory. Movie watching can help students to break through their grammar barrier, build up more vocabularies and enhance their listening skills in English.

Ways of Booking
Students should book a computer workstation online by the Booking System before they can use the laboratory facilities. Each student is allowed to book a maximum duration of up to 2 hours per day. Advance booking can be made 24 hours before and within one week.
Walk-ins are also welcome provided there are spaces. To avoid being turned away due to full-house, you are strongly advised to secure a working station through online booking.
If students cannot show up after making reservation, he/she should inform the laboratory staff via email firstname.lastname@example.org before the reserved timeslot. Students absent without prior notice will not be allowed to use the laboratory facilities in the subsequent two weeks.
Guidelines on using the Laboratory
You are encouraged to visit us and fully use the resources in our laboratory. Please also help maintain the good conditions of the laboratory by observing the “Regulations of the Self-access Language Laboratory”
