Being a civil servant for 20 years, I found the BA (Hons) PAM really attractive. During my two-year study, the programme has broadened my horizons in the areas of public administration and management. In addition to New Public Management, the programme incorporates in-depth studies of China's domestic and foreign policies. The more students know the pulse of China, the greater the chance they can help map out policy acceptable to both sides. Besides, the highly professional and dedicated lecturers used in the programme makes the programme really worthwhile. |

For a public administration and management student, there is no place more exciting, inspiring and dramatic that Greater China and Hong Kong today. This programme met all of my expectations of experiencing the evolving China first-hand in its social, political and economic areas. The programme also enabled me to strengthen my analytical, practical and interpersonal skills, which I believe are essential to success in the workplace today. |
