Chartered Institute of Building (CIOB)
The programme has obtained full accreditation from the Chartered Institute of Building (CIOB) and has satisfied all the academic requirements for Corporate Membership. The CIOB is the leading professional body for managers in construction with over 40,000 members worldwide. For almost 170 years the CIOB has led the way in establishing, promoting and maintaining standards of excellence in the construction industry, and now sets the pace on a global scale for the education and professionalism of those who manage the construction of the built environment. It establishes access through further professional development and subsequent qualification, to use the initials MCIOB which is recognised internationally as achievement of the premier professional qualification in construction management. Globally, it is the passport to a successful career. The CIOB is dedicated to raising standards throughout the world to the benefit of customers, clients, contractors and its members.
 
Bridging Course for Corporate Membership in Building Discipline, Hong Kong Institution of Engineers (HKIE)
Graduates of the programme may also apply for Corporate Membership in Building Discipline of HKIE upon completion of a bridging course recognized by HKIE. All applications to HKIE will be handled on an individual basis so graduates should check with HKIE directly for their eligibility before applying the bridging course.
 
Supplementary Training and Assessment organized by the HKIE
Corporate members of the CIOB with relevant experience of 5 or more years are eligible to become the members of the HKIE in Building Discipline if they successfully complete the Supplementary Training and Assessment organized by the HKIE which comprising of a 2-day training plus one-hour written test of multiple-choice format and an interview.

The BSc (Hons) Construction Management is an exempted course under the Non-local Higher and Professional Education (Regulation) Ordinance (reference number 450700). It is a matter of discretion for individual employers to recognise any qualification to which this programme may lead.
