Some modules have examination and assignment, and some modules have assignment only without examination. This depends on the nature and design of the module.

There will be individual assignment clinics scheduled normally on the last Sunday and Monday for each module for students to meet with the lecturer individually to discuss their study and prepare for the assessment.

When the lecturer is back to UK, email contact is the most helpful and convenient way to get in touch with the lecturer. Students can also make use of SCOPE's web-cam facilities to have video conferencing with the UK lecturers if desired.

7. Is attendance part of the assessment?

Attendance is not an assessment requirement. However, students are strongly advised to attend all the classes as this will affect students' learning and there may be group assignment for some modules for which students need to work with other classmates.

Additionally, many modules of this programme are CEF (Continuing Education Fund) reimbursable courses; a minimum attendance of 70% is required for the purpose of reimbursement.

8. Do I have to buy reading material/textbook for the programme?

Students will be given a set of well-structured study material for each module from the University of Wolverhampton's e-learning platform and can access CityU's library with remote access to selected e-resources.

9. Where is the location of the classes?

Classes are usually held in SCOPE@CityU (Kowloon Tong) or SCOPE Admiralty Learning Centre (Admiralty), or other designated SCOPE Learning Centres.

10. Will there be selection interview?

If necessary, shortlisted applicants may be invited to attend a selection interview.

11.
I will be completing my undergraduate degree in related disciplines this year, can I apply now? But I do not have the final transcript yet.

We accept applications from current final year students who will be completing their degrees before commencing this programme. Applicants can submit application with the transcripts that they have for our initial consideration and will be required to submit the final transcript/certificate to us later on.

12.
When will the admission results be announced? Will each individual applicant be informed of the result in mail, email, or phone call?

Applicants will be notified of their application results by mail 5-6 weeks after submission of application and necessary documents. Applicants can check their status on our website at www.cityu.edu.hk/ce/enrol/que seven working days after submission of application. An acknowledgment of application will also be sent to applicants via email.

13. When do I need to pay the 1st instalment?

An offer letter will be issued to applicants who are admitted to the programme. Applicants will then be required to pay the 1st instalment, together with the graduation fee, in 2 weeks' time to confirm their acceptance of the offer.
