Teaching and Learning

A variety of teaching approaches will be adopted to support students' learning. To develop students' skills and knowledge, the teaching strategies will emphasize student-centred learning, where students take responsibility for their own learning.

Teaching methods will include lectures, seminars and small group tutorials/workshops. Videos, case studies, computer simulations, role play exercises and work based projects may also be used to support learning.

Student Support

Students will have access to the highly advanced electronic resources provided by UoW, and its purpose built computer-based learning environment, WOLF, which allows students to access course notes, support materials, and to communicate with tutors and students online.

In addition, students are entitled to access CityU's Run Run Shaw Library, computing services, e-learning platform Blackboard, and SCOPE resources centre.

Assessment and Award

The assessment methods include assignments and examinations. A student will be awarded the BA (Hons) Business and Law, conferred by University of Wolverhampton, upon successful completion of the programme.
