Different kinds of properties
and facilities require maintenance and management
to a varied extent. Effective Facility Management
does not only provide properties with essential appropriate
maintenance, but at the same time also add value to
them. As such, the demand for facility management
professional from the industry would be increasingly
high. In response to this, School of Continuing and
Professional Education (SCOPE), City University of
Hong Kong is offering the Diploma in Facility Management
this year. Programme content is designed in accordance
with the competencies defined by the International
Facility Management Association (IFMA) as essential
for a professional in facility management. The subjects
cover knowledge of different disciplines, which enable
students to acquire the overall skills and expertise
in facility management and reinforce students' professional
knowledge for further studies and career development.
The two-year part-time programme
will commerce in this year and is now inviting
people with relevant work experience or post-secondary
qualifications to apply.
