Part
2 is designed on the common first year business study
approach and prepares students for further study. It
not only increases students' know-how in business and
management but also assists them in their career and
study plans by offering different specialisations. |

offering of stream(s) is/are subject to sufficient number
of enrolments. |

| Credit
Transfer |
Credit
transfer may be granted to students who possess equivalent
qualifications. The maximun number of credit that can
be transferred is 18 units. |

| Entrance
Requirements |
| 1. |
HKALE
or GCEAL with grade E or above in at least 2
subjects; or
|
| 2. |
Students
who have successfully completed Part 1 of the
DMS programme or equivalent qualifications obtained
from other local institutions; or |
| 3. |
Holders
of HKCEE with grade E or above in at least 5
subjects including Chinese Language and English
Language (Syllabus B)/ Yi Jin graduates, who
have successfully completed a minimum of 1 year
formal post-secondary study or equivalent qualifications
(e.g. graduates of pre-associate degree programme
or other certificate programmes); or

Holders
of HKCEE with grade E or above in three subjects,
and attain Level 2 or above in Chinese Langnage
and English Language (applicable to 2007 HKCEE
or beyond ), who have successfully completed
a minimum of 1 year formal post-secondary study
or equivalent qualifications (e.g. graduates
of pre-associate degree programme or other certificate
programmes); and

At
least 1 year of full-time work experience.

| Assessment
and Award |
Assessment
consists of a combination of coursework and examination.
A student will be awarded a Continuing Education Diploma
in Management Studies upon successful completion of
Part 2 of the programme. |

| Cantonese
and English, supplemented with English handouts. |
|
| Progression
Opportunity |
Upon
successful completion of the DMS programme, students
are eligible to apply for one of the top-up degree programmes
offered in Hong Kong by SCOPE in collaboration with
overseas universities. |
|
| Classes |
There
are approximately 6 - 9 hours of class per week (2-3
weekday evenings or 2 weekday evenings and 1 weekend
afternoon or evening). Classes will be held at the CityU
campus in Kowloon Tong, SCOPE TST Learning Centre, SCOPE Admiralty Learning Centre or
other designated venues. |
