Dr. Fowie NG (伍時豐博士)

Dr. Ng is currently the Head of Therapy Services at the Jockey Club Home for Hospice. He studied Occupational Therapy at the Hong Kong Polytechnic University and worked in clinical areas such as psychiatric and geriatric fields in various public hospitals and rehabilitation settings in Hong Kong. He then further studied in UK for the Master degree in Health Services Research and PhD in Health Policy and Management from the University of Hull.
Dr. Ng worked previously at the Hong Kong Polytechnic University, the Open University of Hong Kong, the University of Hong Kong, the University of Sunderland and the Chinese University of Hong Kong. He has extensive experiences in programme development, hybrid learning, programme validation, teaching as well as research in the areas of Health Services. He is currently the Council Member, Academic Convenor and Fellow of the Hong Kong College of Health Service Executives and Fellow of the Australasian College of Health Service Management. He is also the Assistant Director for the Fellowship Programme of the Hong Kong College of Health Service Executives. Dr. Ng has visiting appointments at the Institute for Entrepreneurship and the School of Professional Education and Executive Development of the Hong Kong Polytechnic University. He is also the Associate Editor of the ‘Public Administration and Policy: An Asia-Pacific Journal’ published by Emerald.
