主題 :  人工智能將會如何改變教育行業?
在現今社會, 人工智能(Artificial Intelligence) 已成為一個非常熱門話題和改變人類發展的重要科技。它不但改變了我們的生活,還影響每個行業, 包括教育界。 在此五十分鐘演講中, 講者會介紹人工智能的基本概念、歷史、發展, 以至人工智能怎樣改變及提升教學和學習方式。 此外, 講者亦會介紹如何利用人工智能簡化學校行政的工作,及令整個系統,包括教育行政、學校管理等,更暢順和更有效率。其他新技術如大數據 (Big Data) 、 區塊鏈(Blockchain) ,亦會簡要地介紹它們如何幫助教學及學校行政管理,例如招生、課程需求、課程成效、課程認證、學生數據等。

The International Conference on Higher Education Curriculum for Discovery and Innovation by City University of Hong Kong   (ICHECITYU2020)

In view of this, the International Conference on Higher Education - Curriculum for Discovery and Innovation, will be held on 16 May 2020 at City University of Hong Kong to provide a platform for local and overseas professionals and practitioners, to exchange educational practices and share success stories with exemplary student works. Student projects will also be selected for poster presentation.

The one-day conference will cover the following areas:

This 90-minute, EDGE lunchtime staff development seminar will be offered two times and each time have two parts. The first part will provide an overview of making your own lectures into short videos. That will be immediately followed by an orientation to the new EDGE Video Production Studio with the studio staff. Making your own 10-minute lecture videos can facilitate your students’ learning as they are able to learn where and when they want. Come join us for this seminar to learn how EDGE can help you transition from Lecturer to Director and Producer! A light lunch will be served.

About the Forum
In response to the Government's policy of providing multiple and flexible pathways for young people with diverse aspirations and abilities, and the transformation of future job market by technological advancement, there is a demand to strengthen Applied Education in support of Hong Kong's development. The provision of equal learning opportunities and adequate resources is significant for young people with various talents and socioeconomic background to flourish, and for the economy and society to prosper. Echoing the needs, the Forum aims at exploring students' passions, nurturing and preparing talents for future challenges, future workplace, and motivating lifelong learning for this rapidly changing society.

Federation for Self-financing Tertiary Education (FSTE) and Our Hong Kong Foundation (OHKF) jointly bring together institutions and industries to share their views and experience by focusing on practicality and impact. How students would be well equipped with professional skills, applied knowledge, application of technology and innovation as well as critical soft skills for the new era? Henceforth, employers are able to secure human resources with right skills.
