Student Reflection & Sharing……
Outstanding Performance Scholarship
“I am very appreciative and sincerely honored to have been selected as one of the recipients of SPSS scholarships. Acquiring the scholarship not only gives me a shot in the arm, but also has equipped me with incomparable confidence to work hard on my studies. On the other hand, this honor will be a helpful support for my further studies.” NGAI Lok Yin, Crystal
LAI Mei Kwan
“It seems like a dream, but it did happen in real life. Without teachers' encouragement, I wouldn’t have an opportunity to win the scholarship. It is easy to step back when you meet with difficulties. Always remember that you're braver than you believe, and stronger than you seem, and smarter than you think. Dream big and trust yourself. You will realize that you have achieved the goals at the end.” IP Lai Shan, Kelsey
Talent Development Scholarship
“What a great honor it is for me to obtain this incredible award from HK government. I'm so grateful for the recognition I have received. I sincerely want to thank everyone who has supported me, especially my mum. In spite of my dad’s opposition to my learning of drawing, she's just like a mentor who usually stands by me and encourages me wholeheartedly. More importantly, it lets me know that one should never underestimate one’s ability to develop a life-long interest.” LAM Pik Kuen, Selena
Reaching Out Award
TSUI Nga Yin
“I was so happy to see myself getting a lot of improvement after the 5 months' exchange… I have put my goal and vision far more than my previous one. I wish to further grow and develop myself in terms of knowledge, ways of thinking and ability to handle difficulties, especially something that comes suddenly. I am confident that my achievements in this trip have pushed me a big step forward to be a more mature person.” WONG Chun Wing, Andy
“After this 5-day tour, I find out that there are so many differences between Hong Kong and Cambodia, whether in society, politics, economy or culture. I am glad that I can get a deeper knowledge and understanding of Cambodia… Besides, I get deeper feelings about the terrors of wars. It is not only about death and injuries. The influence is more than you can imagine. It affects the destiny and the future of the whole country…” CHUNG Wing Yiu, Blair
