Outstanding Performance Scholarship (OPS) 2018-19 & 2019-20
|
YUEN Man Ho, Full Degree 2017
BA (Hons) Business Administration and Management, De Montfort University
As the awardee of the Outstanding Performance Scholarship for two consecutive years, I am delighted and grateful for all the support provided by SCOPE and my lecturers.
The Scholarship is of great importance to me, in which my effort has been assured, and this has also enabled me to pursue my Master’s degree. I have gained invaluable experiences in the last three years during my undergraduate studies, as well as doing voluntary work for the School and the Hong Kong community.
Indeed, I feel delighted being awarded two scholarships, but the experiences gained during the process is perhaps more meaningful.”

Talent Development Scholarship (TDS) 2018-19 & 2019-20 |
CHAN Shing Him, Full Degree 2017
BA (Hons) International Business Communication with Chinese, University of Central Lancashire
I am Hugo Chan the winner of the TDS award. This is my honour to won this Talent Development Scholarship (TDS) of Self-financing Post-secondary Scholarship Scheme (SPSS) award twice. I didn’t even believe it when I first got this award, because I always thought that shot put was my interest, but I didn’t think that when you practiced an interest to the extreme. At that time, other people will actually see your efforts and also make you to have the opportunity to get a scholarship from the school, although it not directly related to learning. All I wanted to say is if you love to doing something just do it, someday you will success.

I was glad and excited about the study tour to Beijing when my ROA itinerary was approved. The ROA trip was a valuable opportunity to broaden my horizon. During the trip, I had a better understanding of Beijing culture and history.
Besides, I would like to thank SCOPE and HK government for the ROA scholarship which was a crucial financial assistance for my study tour. It covered all of my expenditures in Beijing. And the remainder will be served for my future study. |
