The Ace the interview was a very interactive and interesting workshop. The speaker spoke clearly and concisely, she explained all the concepts and showed realistic examples. These examples could be used in interviews for jobs. She also gave good feedback about the results of the Time in Exchange for Internships Scheme. Her insights were constructive, they helped me understand my shortcomings better than before. Overall, it was a good experience. If there are more such workshops, I will join again.

The 'Ace the Interview workshop has definitely changed my perspectives on how I look at interviews. Before attending this workshop, my perspective towards interviews was if my qualifications and skills would be good enough for me to get the position. After attending the workshop, I realized interviews are a two-way communication process - for both interviewee and employer. Now, when preparing for interviews, I definitely consider if I can do the job, what can I learn from this job and how can I fit into the potential organization. Another major takeaway from this workshop was to learn the structure of answering questions. From my previous experience, I do struggle with organizing my thoughts during impromptu speaking. Therefore, just understanding what key areas and their order is definitely a great help for me.
