Bachelor of Science (Honours) in Construction Management
Applicants could apply for the programme through the cognate entry, semi-cognate entry or mature entry:
i. Holders of an Associate Degree (AD) or a Higher Diploma (HD) in a cognate discipline.
ii. Holders of a Professional Diploma at HKQF Level 4 with a minimum of 120 QF credits in a cognate discipline plus a minimum of three years of relevant building/construction/surveying industry experience.
Cognate disciplines: Building Studies, Building Services, Construction Engineering & Management, Quantity Surveying, Building Surveying, Architectural Design & Technology, Civil Engineering, Building Information Modelling (BIM), Facilities Management or equivalent qualifications.
Holders of an Associate Degree (AD) or a Higher Diploma (HD) in a semi-cognate discipline plus a minimum of two years of relevant building/construction/surveying industry experience.
Semi-Cognate disciplines: Business, Finance, Management, Engineering related, Environmental Protection, Energy Management Service, Real Estate, Housing Management, Interior Design, Computer Science, Information Technology, Sciences or equivalent qualifications.
Applicants admitted through semi-cognate entry are required to take and pass a 45-hour conversion course "Construction Technology and Management" offered by CityU SCOPE prior to the programme commencement. An additional fee of HK$7,000 will be charged for the conversion course.
Mature candidates with a minimum of five years of experience at a supervisory level within the relevant building/ construction/ surveying Industry; or
All applicants admitted through this route have to successfully undergo the admission interview.
English proficiency requirement
All applicants are also required to satisfy the English proficiency requirement for admission by holding one of the following conditions:
- IELTS 6.0; OR
- Grade C or above in HKCEE English Language (Syllabus B) before 2007; OR
- Level 3 or above in HKCEE English Language in the 2007 and henceforth; OR
- Level 3 or above in HKDSEE English Language; OR
- AD or HD with English Medium of instruction (e.g. IVE, CCCU); OR
- Other equivalent.
- As stated applicants admitted through mature entry must attend an admission interview.
Applicants admitted through the cognate and semi-cognate entry may also be invited to attend an admission interview as part of the selection process.
- Subject to admission decision, those who have not studied Construction Law will be required to take free non-credit bearing tutorial classes in Semester A.

Third instalment due in August 2024;
Fourth instalment due in December 2024.
In the case of re-assessment, additional fees will be charged. All fees paid are non-refundable.

Application form could be obtained from the reception counter of CityU SCOPE upon request. The completed form, together with the required supporting document stated below should be sent to SCOPE at 2410, 2/F, Li Dak Sum Yip Yio Chin Academic Building (LI), City University of Hong Kong, Tat Chee Avenue, Kowloon.
Applicants will be required to provide and upload the following documents in support of your application:
- Copies of your AD/HD certificate(s) and transcript(s);
- Copies of your English proficiency level (e.g. HKCEE/HKDSE/HKALE/IELTS certificate)
- Any other professional qualification(s)/supplementary information which is relevant to the assessment of your application
Applications for this programme are processed on a rolling basis and review of applications will start immediately until all places are filled. Therefore, early applications are strongly encouraged. Applicants will be selected based on academic merits and relevant work experience and may be invited to attend an interview. All application received are approved and rejected by University of Wolverhampton in consultation with SCOPE.

Successful applicants are eligible to apply for the Extended Non-means-tested Loan Scheme (ENLS) administered by the Student Finance Office (SFO) of the HKSAR government. The maximum financial assistance under the ENLS is equivalent to the total tuition fees payable for the programme.
Continuing Education Fund (CEF)*
These courses have been included in the list of reimbursable courses for Continuing Education Fund purposes. The mother programme BSc (Hons) in Quantity Surveying of these courses is recognised under the Qualifications Framework (QF Level 5). For details, please visit the government's website.
