Self Introduction
Dr. Patrick Lo served as the Music Cataloguing Librarian at The Chinese University of Hong Kong Library from 2007-09. From 1996-2007, Patrick Lo served as the Senior Assistant Librarian at the Lingnan University Library, Hong Kong. Before undertaking this EdD programme at Bristol, he also obtained a Master of Arts in Design Management (MA) from Hong Kong Polytechnic University (2004), a Master of Library & Information Science (MLIS) from McGill University (Canada; 1994), and a Bachelor of Fine Arts (BFA) from Mount Allison University, (Canada; 1992)

"I am glad that I was able to complete the entire EdD programme within 4 years. Throughout the course of the study, I developed very good working relationships with my 2 dissertation supervisors. Similar to 2004 EdD graduate, Dr. Johanna Vogel’s experience, although most of the work was done via long distance, the support I received from my supervisor was very good. For my dissertation I usually received feedback (very often with Track Changes) within 1 to 2 weeks. Since I had worked very hard, I was able to complete the entire dissertation, from start to finish, within 2 years. The location of SCOPE is also very convenient, easily accessible."
