The EdD Programme study was a rich and rewarding experience for me. I enjoyed attending the weekend classes and participating in the various activities organized to promote better learning. The exchanges of ideas during discussion sessions among classmates from different backgrounds were particularly interesting and stimulating. The programme enabled me to link practice with theory, and hence, better befit the role of an educator. In addition to research skills, I have developed deeper insights into issues that are topical or under investigation. My project management and problem solving skills have also strengthened through having to overcome many challenges during the study. With the continuous support and encouragement from my supervisor, schoolmates, colleagues, friends and family, I am glad that I have finally completed my study, and with much satisfaction!

Studying the Bristol EdD programme has been a once-in-a-lifetime experience for me. The courses of the EdD programme have enriched my knowledge as an education administrator which include learning a variety of useful topics that have helped me to meet the needs of my current workplace (educational research, educational change in organisational settings, educational leadership and education policy). The professors of the EdD programme are resourceful and supportive and I would like to particularly thank my supervisor of my dissertation Dr. Neil Ingram who guided me arduously with his insightful comments so I could manage to graduate successfully from the EdD programme.
