Psychology at Sheffield Hallam University
The MSc in Psychology is one of a number of postgraduate courses offered at Sheffield Hallam that is accredited by the British Psychological Society (BPS). The Department of Psychology, Sociology and Politics addresses contemporary issues in areas like mental health, education and the workplace. Our courses are focused on employability, applying theoretical learning to the real world.
Our staff have teaching and research interests in a broad range of social sciences including psychology, sociology, social policy and politics, and areas of expertise within psychology such as child development, intelligence and neuropsychology. They conduct research for the scientific community, local authorities and government bodies, and consultancy work for business.
